KIMBLE'S LEGACY STONES

KIMBLE'S LEGACY STONES

HOW IT'S MADE

Tumbling by Craig Kimble

A Journey of Patience and Love

Tumbling stones was more than a process to my dad—more of a quiet lesson in time, care, and transformation.

He started with the rough—pieces of the earth, each one holding a story. Just as he did once by collecting them from hikes, travels, and hidden places.

Putting them into the tumbler with coarse grit and water was how he started the process. For days, they would turn—shaping, softening.

Then when he thought the time was right he would begin the medium grind, refining the shape and easing the sharpness.

A finer grit followed, and the stones showed their inner beauty.

Finally, the polish— a soft swirl of patience, hope, and love. The stones, once rough and ordinary, become smooth, radiant, and full of color.

Like the bond I shared with my dad—enduring, shaped by time, and to continue shineing forever!

Wire Wrapping by Stephanie Kimble

A Dance of Hands and Heart

With each twist of wire, I hold a memory.

A stone, once rough, now softened by time—cradled in silver or copper.

I don’t just wrap stones—I wrap pieces of the earth, of love, of grief, of healing.

Each one chosen with care, each wire guided by feel, not force.

It’s more than art—it’s connection. To my dad. To our memories.

In every curve, there’s patience. In every loop, a whisper of the past. And when it’s finished, it’s not just jewelry—it’s a piece of a journey, held close and made beautiful.
